Rodney Hyde founded Grow Organic Baby in 2016 after going looking for better formula for his own kids and not finding it. Ten years later, he has evaluated dozens of organic and plant-based infant formulas, built sourcing relationships across four countries, and helped ship more than 20,000 orders to families across the United States.
Ten years sourcing the world's best formula
Rodney's work is hands-on and specific: reading the labels, understanding why European and Australian formula is regulated differently from US formula, prepaying the import duties so families do not get surprised, and making sure formula ships fresh from the manufacturer. Over a decade he has evaluated dozens of brands and now curates a shortlist he would feed his own children, including HiPP, Holle, Kendamil, Jovie, Lebenswert, and Nannycare.
Why he started Grow Organic Baby
Rodney is a dad first. Grow Organic Baby began as a search for something better for his own family, and it still runs like a family business: US-based support by phone, text, and email, and honest answers about what is actually in a formula and where it comes from.
