Kendamil Formula Preparation Guide
Kendamil is the only British-made organic formula, a whole-milk, palm-oil-free recipe. Here's how to prepare it, the right water temperature, a full feeding chart, and what its key ingredients mean.
📍 Made in the United Kingdom
How to mix Kendamil
- Sterilise the bottle, teat and ring in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Boil fresh water and cool it to 158°F / 70°C. Don't use microwaved, softened or repeatedly boiled water.
- Fill the bottle with about ⅔ of the water from the feeding chart below.
- Add the correct number of level scoops, 1 level scoop per 1 fl oz (30 ml) of water. Level off with a clean, dry knife; never pack the powder.
- Close and shake well (15+ seconds) until fully dissolved.
- Add the remaining water and shake lightly again.
- Cool under cold running water to 98.6°F / 37°C and always test on your wrist before feeding.

Storage & care
UK guidance (NHS) recommends preparing formula with water cooled to no less than 70°C to kill bacteria, then cooling the bottle to body temperature before feeding. Store powder cool and dry, use within 3 weeks of opening, and never re-heat leftover formula. Always follow the instructions on your current can.
