Sprout Infant Formula is an organic, vegan, milk free, dairy free, lactose-free, soy free baby formula produced in Australia.
It is a 100% plant-based formula, prepared using organic rice protein and organic pea protein. It contains coconut oil, not palm oil and is suitable for 0-12 months of age.
The ratio is 1 scoop to 2 oz of water.

Sprout is an organic certified, 100% plant based formula that contains no animal product or by-product. It is suitable for 0-12 months.
It is a lactose-free, certified vegan formula based on pea and rice protein. The organic ingredients contain all of your babies’ nutritional requirements, including DHA, proteins, vitamins, minerals (including calcium) and essential amino acids, all from plant sources.
It is suitable for babies experiencing difficulties digesting animal proteins and for vegan babies. The nutrient content is identical to regular infant milk based on cow's or goat's milk protein.
Vegan formulas taste different to milk based formula and may have a slightly bitter taste, which is common for Vegan formulas. As this is a specialty formula, we do not offer refunds or exchanges if your little one refuses to drink it.

Ratio of Formula to Water
The ratio is 1 scoop to 2 oz of water. One unpacked scoop of formula (using the scoop provided in every box of formula) to two ounces of water. One scoop is 8.8g/0.31 oz.
Optimal mixing temperature - Important to follow
The ideal water temperature for mixing plant based formula is 122F – 158 F (50-70 degrees Celsius), this will help the formula completely dissolve. Shaking the bottle for a few extra seconds before serving will also help to dissolve it more effectively. The warm water mixing temperature is important due to the different texture of rice-based formula compared to dairy based formula.

While many parents do not boil the water they are preparing the formula with, it is advised to do so as it can eliminate bacteria.

Shipping rates for Sprout orders are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the order and the location of the shipping address.
Sprout orders ship Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from Australia to all 50 US states, Canada, the EU, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and 26 other countries listed in the dropdown menu of the shopping cart.

We do not dispatch 7 days a week and have a daily 3pm Pacific shipping cut-off, so the transit time estimates are from when the order is shipped, not when it was placed. Orders placed after cutoff or over the weekend will be dispatched on the next business day.
There are no deliveries on Sunday’s and holidays. Estimated transit times are for metro areas of major cities and may differ for regional and remote locations.

Deliveries are made by USPS or Canada Post, or for other markets the domestic mail service of your country. Signature on delivery is a mandatory feature for EMS.
Tracking information is emailed to you immediately upon shipment.
DHL Express
Delivery is made by DHL. Tracking information is emailed to you immediately upon shipment and you will also receive automatic tracking updates from DHL via email or text depending upon your preference.
The DHL tracking will provide an ETA, which will constantly update throughout the transit with accuracy improving as it gets closer to the destination.

My son is lactose intolerant and sprouts has been such an incredible formula for him! I love that it has all clean organic ingredients, no corn syrup like what you find here in the U.S. in most baby formulas, esp vegan ones. I just wish shipping was better. I have ordered when we have sometimes had 3-4 cans of formula left thinking that is enough time to receive a shipment, and still sometimes have to resort to a milk based formula to cover us until sprouts arrives. And then it’s a whole process to titrate my son off the milk and transition back to sprouts because I think the taste of sprouts maybe isn’t as good as a milk based formula. But sometimes that takes several days to two weeks to make that transition. But once he transitions fully back, he is a much happier baby and seems to feel so much better on Sprouts than other formulas! I know the supply was impacted by the recent cyclone that hit Australia so I understand that may be the case for the current shipping issues, but this has happened more than 2-3 times for us not getting a shipment in time so it’s really discouraging.
Finally a natural formula without all those nasty chemicals🙏🏻 Very grateful for this company and its products!
Very satisfied with product
The "Brand Refresh" is clearly the company cutting packaging costs. Which is fine. But, the new formula smells and feels like sand. Looking at the old batch cans along side the new batch cans. It looks like they switched from an "Organic" main ingredient, to a "Hydrolyzed Organic" main ingredient. There are several other ingredients that were taken out and replaced with something else. Either way, the formula looks/smells bad and no longer mixes well.
Had a great experience with Sprouts plant based protein mixes and the baby formula is just as great. Baby loves it. Thank You
